Brand My Plane, LLC · Northeast Ohio
Your brand, on my plane.
Painted ads on a used Mooney I don’t own yet. $175k or nobody gets painted.
One paint-shop livery after I buy the plane. Not a wrap, and not a piece of the airplane.
Closes Oct 31, 11:59pm ET
From the left seat. These are rented 172s and 182s. The Mooney is the airplane I’m buying.
How it works
How a mark gets painted
Pick a mark, place a bid, and we only paint if the campaign hits $175k in captured winning bids. Miss that number and the holds drop.
- 01
Pick a mark
Choose the tail, cowling, spinner, wings, gear, or a $250 plate. Marks are priced by how visible they are on the ramp and in the air. After I buy the airplane, everything goes on in one paint-shop job.
- 02
Bid
The highest bid at close wins that mark. If someone outbids you, your hold drops, and you can bid again if you still want the mark.
- 03
All or nothing
Hit $175k in captured winning bids and I buy a used Mooney M20, hangar it in northeast Ohio, and take it to paint. Miss that number and the holds drop. If the campaign hits, your mark gets painted.
Live sale
Painted race-livery spots on one Mooney M20.
These are painted ads on a used Mooney I don’t own yet. Opens start cheap on purpose. A small plate is $250; the tail and cowling are the bigger marks. Hit $175k in captured winning bids and I buy the airplane and paint the livery. Miss it and the holds drop.

The airplane
A used Mooney M20

About
Software by day. Left seat for fun.
I write software for a living and I fly when I can. I want a used Mooney M20. They’re fast, efficient, and a little stubborn, which is most of the appeal. I don’t have the hull cash sitting around, so I’m selling the livery.
I live in northeast Ohio, and if this works the airplane will be hangared here too. Brand My Plane, LLC is the seller. I’m still the one who flies it, and I still have final say on every mark.
If the campaign hits, your mark gets painted on a plane I fly. If it misses, the holds drop and nobody gets painted.
FAQ
The obvious ones
Is this real?+–
Yes. I’m Scott Moore in northeast Ohio. Brand My Plane, LLC is the seller. I don’t own the Mooney yet. Selling painted marks is how I buy it. If we miss $175k in captured winning bids, I don’t buy the plane and nobody gets painted.
What do I actually get?+–
If the campaign hits, you get a painted mark in the zone you won, on the real airplane, plus your name and a link on this site. Photos and posts from the flying I already do. Not a die-cut sticker, and not a render that stays on a website forever.
Is this a wrap?+–
No. Logos are painted as part of one certified paint-shop job after I buy the airplane. A full vinyl shrink-wrap is an FAA major alteration — that’s not the product. Limited vinyl decals on the fuselage or tail are a fallback if a mark can’t be painted cleanly.
Can I buy the N-number?+–
No. The registration patch on both fuselage sides is reserved. 14 CFR 45.21: marks must contrast, stay legible, and not be confused by other graphics. That patch is not for sale.
Do I pay when I bid?+–
A 20% hold sits on your card while you’re the high bid. Get outbid and that hold drops. The rest is only due if you still hold the mark when the campaign closes and we hit the goal. Full detail is in Terms.
What if I’m outbid?+–
Each spot has its own minimum raise — $100 on marquee, $50 on medium, $25 on small plates. You’re off the spot. Bid again if you still want the mark. The 20% hold is released — not captured.
Can I put any logo on it?+–
No. I keep final say on what goes on the airplane. If a mark doesn’t clear, that bid doesn’t stand.
Are you with Mooney Aircraft?+–
No. Brand My Plane isn’t affiliated with Mooney Aircraft, Mooney International, or any Mooney factory or dealer. M20 is just the airplane I want to fly.
